Elsie and Jack - Engagement session

How to describe Chicago winter? My answers.. cold, snow, wind and freezing. Jack picked Garfield Park Conservatory because he said they want to go somewhere warmer for their engagement photos (I would love to :D). It was a cold day but at least we were shooting inside the green house, it was so humid and hot. We kept running around the whole place and took so many nice shots, first time to meet Elsie, a very sweet lady and it was my pleasure to capture their sweet moment together, I can't wait for their big day!

Hello winter

Hello winter!

I truly think this winter is coming really late, first snow in Chicago, 5 inches, seems like it was the first time ever had that much snow visited this windy city for the first snow. Last weekend, I was driving back home from the doctor office and this beautiful scenery really made me stop my car for a while to capture these picture, I love it, it's romantic and peaceful...say hello to our first snow!

Leah and Brian @ University of Chicago

It was my pleasure to take pictures with Leah and Brian, they are very sweet and so in love, Leah said she want to capture some best moment with Brian because he might go back to HK for good later. I love to capture love as always. It was a cold day, windy but thank god it also was a shinny day. Leah acted so natural during the shooting but Brian was a bit nervous, well, it's so normal to the guys because they are always so afraid of the camera. But it doesn't a big matter for me, in any circumstance I still can make it work, that's my job right? And I proved it I'm right again! After some warm-up shoots Brian was getting more comfortable with the lens...that's all great! Can you feel their love though the pictures?

Chris and Jacky - Engagement session

Chris and Jacky flew all the way from Hong Kong to Chicago for their engagement session, the story behind them is they both want to capture their precious moment at NIU, where they met each other back in couple years ago, they fell in love and now they decided to start another new journey in their life. Next year in February they will get marry in Hong Kong. Chicago means a lot to them, I was the one who witness their growth of love and I'm also the one who got invited to shoot the engagement pictures! I'm so happy for them and my best wishes for their long lasting love and growth in the future.
